What You’ll Do And Impact
- Lead and motivate a team of PCBA assemblers on 2nd shift to hit daily production, quality, and delivery targets
- Train and support team members across key PCBA areas — from Heat Sink and Kitting to Final Assembly
- Keep the line running smoothly by monitoring progress and adjusting assignments as needed
- Be the go-to point of contact between your team and leadership, ensuring clear communication and smooth shift transitions
- Assist with hands-on PCB assembly as needed using work instructions, BOMs, and drawings
- Tackle minor production or technical issues and escalate when necessary to keep things on track
- Champion a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Make sure team members follow all policies around ESD, safety, quality, and attendance
- Take an active role in shift meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
- PCBA Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of assembly processes like Heat Sink, Kitting, Pre-Assembly, Slide Line, etc.
- Team Leadership: Ability to motivate, guide, and support a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Communicator: Clear and effective communication with both team members and management, especially during shift handoffs
- Basic Computer Skills: For reporting, tracking production, and communicating shift update
- Proactive: Takes initiative to keep things running smoothly
- Dependable: Reliable, on time, and consistent in performance
- Positive Attitude: Leads by example and contributes to a supportive team culture
- Proven ability to build positive relationships with both co-workers and management
- Strong communication, organizational, and team leadership skills
- Eagerness to train, coach, and develop team members
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, detail-focused manufacturing environment
- Ability to stand for up to 12 hours a day and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Capable of performing repetitive tasks without compromising quality
- Experience driving employee engagement and fostering team involvement
- At least 1 year of production experience
