We are seeking a passionate, qualified Production Supervisor for our Sandy Lick manufacturing plant in Brookville, PA. This position will oversee our manufacturing operations and ensure our daily goals are being developed and met. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team of production workers to meet company goals. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to schedules.
• Monitor and enforce safety guidelines, company policies, and quality standards.
• Assign tasks to production workers and oversee their performance.
• Train, coach, and evaluate employees to maximize productivity and morale.
• Ensure proper maintenance of production equipment and troubleshoot any issues.
• Collaborate with other departments, including quality control, maintenance, and supply chain.
• Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports on performance metrics.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Address and resolve any conflicts or concerns within the production team.
• Record and maintain departmental employee time, absenteeism, PTO records and schedule shifts.
• Update and maintain training matrix's while developing training for cross-functional skills.
• Acts as a coach and/or mentor to crew leaders and employees to help develop their skills and to develop future leaders.
• Understands software programs affiliated with position to include Microsoft Office, IFS, and Quality Management Software.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• General computer skills will be required, including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
