We are seeking dedicated Machine Operators at our Sandy Lick manufacturing plant located in Brookville, PA. This position will be responsible for forming requirements to make products as indicated on blueprints, setting up and operating conventional, special purpose and numerical control (NC) machines and machining centers to form metallic parts. Additional responsibilities include preventative maintenance on machines. Machine operators are also trained to perform preliminary inspection on parts to identify non-conformities.
Job Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Experience: No experience required! We are willing to train the right candidate.

- Complete all job tasks in a safe manner & prioritize the safety and well-being of all team members by following all safety policies and procedures.
- Recall programs and set up established processes.
- Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, attachments, accessories, and materials.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance bend radius and adjust machine controls or control media as required.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- Install machined replacement parts and tests operation of unit to ensure functionality and performance.
- Plan, layout, and perform safely and efficiently, forming and bench operations required to build, fit, or repair parts for equipment, die assemblies, fixture, and gages to exacting accuracy.
- Proficiently uses inspection tools, records the measurements on inspection sheets and understands the implications the dimensions have on part quality and function.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints/technical drawings.
- Ability to maintain accurate records.
