What are the responsibilities and job description for the PK Paraprofessional position at Miller Grove ISD Elementary Campus?
Primary Purpose:
To assist teachers and staff in providing high-quality instruction and support to students in the PK classroom. The paraprofessional will work under the direction of certified staff to help meet the academic, behavioral, and social needs of students in a variety of classroom settings.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required

Experience working with children preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and administrators
Responsibilities Include:

Support instruction under the guidance of classroom teachers

Assist with classroom management and student supervision

Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning objectives

Provide support for students with special needs as directed

Assist with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and record keeping

Perform other duties as assigned to support student success across settings
Salary:
Based on district paraprofessional pay scale, commensurate with experience.
