Job Summary
The Senior Associate in the Audit department is responsible for working with members of the Audit department to execute all phases of the audit process including planning, substantive testing, financial analysis, presenting audit findings to management, preparing financial statements and issuance of an opinion.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Complete audit work papers and memoranda by documenting audit tests and findings.
- Examine and analyze records, reports, operating policies, and documentation.
- Plan financial audits by understanding organization objectives, structure, policies, and internal controls.
- Prepare financial statements and reviews returns.
- Responsible for analyzing accounting records and executing audit program steps, testing general ledger, and account balances.
- Responsible for and supervise audit engagements; and communicate audit progress and findings by providing information in status meetings, highlighting unresolved issues, and reviewing work papers.
- Stay current on the latest GAAS practices and knowledge of GAAP matters.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.

Salary : $70,000 - $95,000
