Summary :
The Forklift Operator position is responsible for pulling product from the operating line and staging in North Warehouse. Requires advanced knowledge of operating palletizer equipment. The operator will also assist the Production Technician as needed. This includes monitoring formulations and processing procedures to ensure production adheres to designed quality standards and using correct procedures as prescribed by the company to required standards.
Compensation : $21.00-$24.00 hourly
Monday-Thursday, occasional Fridays, 3rd shift.
Primary Duties : Forklift Operations
- Pull production lines and stage loads accordingly to customer needs.
- Remove finished packaged items from the line and separate rejected items.
- Restocking of film, slip-sheets, ingredients, pallets and empty bags.
- Observe and operate palletizer operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standards. Adjust machine components and machine tension and pressure, as needed
- Stop or reset palletizer when malfunctions occur, clear palletizer jams and report malfunctions to a supervisor.
- Inspect and remove defective products and packaging material as needed.
- Clean, and make minor adjustment or repairs to palletizer, such as opening valves or setting guides conveyor belts.
- Count and record finished and rejected packaged items to assist production technician if needed on shortages.
- Fifo product in South warehouse racks.
- Store and organize overrun in North warehouse D section.
- Changing germ totes and staging process.
- Fill out all required daily documentation.
