Summary :
Miller Milling Company is seeking a senior business intelligence developer to support the growing BI and data analysis capabilities that our organization requires. This position will play a lead role in the advancement of our rapidly expanding data-related initiatives using the latest cloud-based tools.
Primary Duties :
- Design and development of MMC’s data warehouse, dashboarding, and self-service reporting ecosystem using the Microsoft BI toolset (SQL Server, Fabric, Power BI, Azure).
- Lead the process of engaging cross-functional teams to define project requirements
- Design and develop database objects (databases, tables, views, stored procedures, etc.) in the Microsoft Fabric and Azure platforms.
- Develop, maintain, and support new and existing ETL processes (e.g., Fabric Data Engineering).
- Help automate and modernize data-related processes using Knime and other automation tools.
- Create intuitive data visualizations using Power BI and other reporting tools that drive engagement from business partners.
- Establish routine processes and practices to promote accuracy of the data warehouse and reporting.
- Perform data analysis to extract insights from complex datasets.
- Communicate findings and insights to business stakeholders through clear and concise presentations and reports.
- Establish a system of process documentation and document management (e.g., data dictionaries, procedures documents).
