Content Videographer – Miller Outdoors

At Miller Outdoors, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional Pool, Outdoor Living, and Landscaping services. We are seeking a talented and creative Videographer to join our team and work directly with our owner and field staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through video, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to capture the essence of our projects and company culture. This role involves creating high-quality video content for marketing, promotional, and internal purposes, highlighting the unique aspects of our landscaping and pool construction services.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the owner to develop and execute video content strategies that align with the company’s goals and vision.
  • Film and produce high-quality video content, including project showcases, client testimonials, behind-the-scenes footage, and promotional materials.
  • Capture the transformation of outdoor spaces from start to finish, highlighting the design and construction process.
  • Develop creative concepts and storyboards for video projects.
  • Operate and maintain video equipment, ensuring all technical aspects are handled proficiently.
  • Manage and organize a video library for easy access and archival purposes.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new techniques to enhance video production quality.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Videographer, preferably in a similar industry (construction, landscaping, real estate, etc.).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing video production skills and creative storytelling.
  • Experience with professional video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear.
  • Excellent visual composition and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel to various project sites as needed.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends based on project requirements.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years as a videographer.
  • Education: High School Diploma required

  • Video Production Skills:
  • Filming and producing high-quality video content
  • Capturing the transformation of outdoor spaces
  • Developing creative concepts and storyboards
  • Operating and maintaining video equipment
  • Editing raw footage into polished videos
  • Managing and organizing a video library
  • Technical Skills:
  • Experience with professional video equipment
  • Strong visual composition and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with various video formats and editing software
  • Communication Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with the owner and marketing team
  • Other:
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • Comfort working under pressure to meet deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Starting Pay: $150/day (based on experience and qualifications).
  • Hours: Minimum 10 hours per week
