Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team to provide outstanding customer service and expert product recommendations.
- Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and financial performance.
- Drive sales growth by implementing company initiatives, setting goals, and strengthening relationships with commercial and retail customers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and legal regulations.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming store environment that meets company standards.
- Recruit, train, and mentor employees, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Manage scheduling, payroll, and operational efficiency to align with business needs.
- Track and manage store funds, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial policies.
- Oversee store profitability, including budgeting, expense control, and balancing inventory levels.
- Engage with customers and the community to enhance brand awareness and build strong relationships.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of retail management experience, preferably in paint, hardware, or home improvement industries.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to drive sales and operational excellence while maintaining high customer service standards.
- Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency withPOS systems and basic computer skills.
- Interest in home improvement, color & design, or local manufacturing is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and motor vehicle checks.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability tostand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and organizing products.
- Must be able tolift and carry up to 60 lbs with assistance.
