Senior Controls Engineer
A leading systems integrator in advanced robotics and automation is seeking seasoned Controls Engineers to join their growing team. This organization specializes in assembly, machine tending, dispensing, deburring, and machine vision, serving industries such as automotive, heavy truck, and general manufacturing.
The ideal candidate can program from scratch, and is able to integrate software and hardware. If you can program from a sequence of operations and solution design around a brand new piece of equipment, rather than from a pre-defined template - this is the Engineering team for you.
As a key player on this team of Controls Engineers, you will :
- Develop expertise in controls architectures, hardware, and software, with a focus on PLCs, robotics, and related equipment.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
- Assess project requirements and identify the appropriate personnel and skillsets for successful completion.
- Coordinate project schedules and manage workloads efficiently.
- Interface directly with customers to ensure excellent service and maintain strong relationships.
- Provide formal and informal leadership and support to the engineering team.
- Apply basic project management skills to ensure on-time and high-quality project delivery.
