Cake decorator
The individual selected for this position will be responsible for preparing and decorating cakes for multiple occasions.
The individual will also fill and condition the cake case through the shift.
Tasks
- Check products for quality and identify damaged or expired goods.
- Check the quality of raw materials to ensure that standards and specifications are met.
- Check equipment to ensure that it meets health and safety regulations and perform maintenance or cleaning, as necessary.
- Apply glazes, icings, or other toppings to baked goods, using spatulas or brushes.
- Decorate baked goods, such as cakes or pastries.
- Order or receive supplies or equipment.

Managing cake out-dates daily. Receiving and processing cake orders. Managing cake and icing Inventory. Managing cake decoration station to include preparing icing's and following all sanitation procedures. Maintaining a positive, friendly working relationship with customers, and co-workers. Stocking and maintenance of product and product displays according to quality and merchandising standards. Potential for working in our deli and bakery areas as needed.
