What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adventure and Site Coordinator position at Miller's Run School?
The Adventure & Site Coordinator acts as the Miller’s Run School KEAP Site Coordinator: supervises staff and students, designs and manages academic and enrichment programs, and is responsible for all aspects of the KEAP site administration on a daily basis. This position also works as an Adventure Coordinator to lead outdoor enrichment activities (biking, hiking, skiing, fishing, etc) and high-interest enrichments during the school-day at all KESD schools as scheduled. This position is in charge of supervising and transporting students, and works under the supervision of the KEAP Program Director and Director of Experiential Learning on a daily basis. KEAP operates according to Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center grant requirements and school policies and procedures.
The regular work schedule is 9:00am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday, with some flexibility as arranged with the 21C Director (40 hours/week). This position works at Miller’s Run for afterschool, and with all KESD schools for Experiential Learning. The position pays $25/hr, and includes benefits.
