Summary
As an Equipment Sales Representative at Miller Sellner, you will be at the forefront of our mission to deliver exceptional agricultural solutions. This role is pivotal in driving sales and fostering strong relationships with our customers across Southern Minnesota.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers to drive sales growth.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits of our equipment.
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the service department to provide seamless customer support post-sale.
- Utilize Salesforce for tracking leads, managing accounts, and reporting on sales activities.
- Identify market trends and customer needs to inform product offerings and sales strategies.
- Participate in trade shows and community events to promote Miller Sellner's products.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the agricultural or technical equipment industry.
- Strong account management skills with a focus on building long-term customer relationships.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully.
- Experience in direct B2B sales is highly desirable.
- Ability to generate leads through networking and market research.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is a plus.
- Technical knowledge of agricultural equipment is beneficial but not required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
