Package Designer Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and execute creative packaging concepts
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align packaging with brand guidelines
- Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for packaging solutions
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery
- Conduct market research to stay current with packaging trends and competitor offerings
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to source materials and obtain production quotes
- Ensure that all packaging designs comply with industry standards and regulations
- Provide mock-ups and prototypes for stakeholder review and feedback
- Optimize packaging designs for cost, sustainability, and manufacturability
- Conduct quality checks and oversee the production process to ensure design integrity
