Customer Relations and Sales Specialist
Role Summary:
We are seeking a Customer Relations and Sales Specialist to join our growing team. This role is vital to our customer experience, as it combines relationship-building with the development and growth of our client base. You will be the first point of contact for potential and existing customers, ensuring a seamless and positive experience while also driving sales through service offerings.
You will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, providing product and service information, addressing concerns, and driving new business. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, attention to detail, a customer-first mindset, and a passion for building long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Relations:
- Serve as the main point of contact for both new and existing customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Address and resolve customer complaints, questions, and requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and encouraging repeat business.
- Follow up with customers after service completion to ensure quality and to solicit feedback.
- Assist with scheduling service appointments and ensuring customer needs are met on time.
- Sales and Business Development:
- Proactively reach out to potential clients and generate new business opportunities through various channels (phone calls, emails, networking, etc.).
- Present and sell a range of yard care services (e.g., lawn maintenance, landscaping, seasonal cleanups, etc.) based on customer needs.
- Conduct site visits when necessary to provide accurate assessments and recommendations for services.
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate services based on their specific requirements and budget.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and targets, contributing to the overall growth of the business.
- Maintain an organized database of customer interactions, sales leads, and service contracts.
- Administrative Duties:
- Keep detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Coordinate with the operational teams to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Provide quotes and invoices to customers and ensure timely follow-ups for pending payments.
Pay Range:
$22-$26 per hour
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in customer service, sales, or a related field (experience in the yard care/landscaping industry is a plus).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and resolve issues.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple clients and tasks at once.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and customer engagement.
- Familiarity with basic sales and CRM software is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field is a plus).
