GENERAL PURPOSE
The Competitive Analyst supports all three segments of our global business-Herman Miller, Knoll, and our broader channels. Utilizing data-driven insights, this role aids strategic decisions related to pricing, product positioning, and market competitiveness. Through tracking competitor activities, analyzing market trends, and identifying emerging opportunities, the Competitive Analyst strengthens our competitive advantage and drives business growth.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Competitor & Market Analysis
- Conduct in-depth analysis of competitors' products, services, pricing strategies, and market positioning to assess strengths, weaknesses, and market share across global regions.
- Monitor competitor activities, including product launches and marketing campaigns, to identify potential threats and opportunities for growth.
- Gather and synthesize market intelligence from industry reports, research, and customer feedback to identify key trends, opportunities, and market dynamics.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to develop competitive positioning tools and pricing maps that support strategic decisions.
