We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at MillerKnoll. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment.
This position requires strong technical skills and knowledge of electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems. The candidate must be able to diagnose and repair complex automated machines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Candidates must possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to troubleshoot, rebuild, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. They must also be able to perform milling, welding, fabrication, and use various power tools.
The ability to read and interpret mechanical diagrams as well as electrical schematics is essential for this role. The candidate must be flexible to work in various environments, including ladder work, scaffolding, rooftop, hot and cold temperatures, and willing to work overtime on weekends and holiday shifts as needed.
Maintenance documentation and record-keeping are critical components of this position. A high school diploma or equivalent (GED), or work experience which demonstrates performance competency is necessary for this role.
