Millers Landing Senior Living, an 80-unit assisted living and memory care community in the beautiful Stone Arch Bridge area of downtown Minneapolis, MN, is hiring an RN for a full-time position.

Millers Landing holds the health and wellbeing of our residents and staff in the highest regard. PPE is provided for all staff and is required to be worn while in the building. Strict infection control and prevention protocol is practiced daily at Millers Landing in order to ensure the health and safety of all residents and staff. Vaccines are available to staff and residents.
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The RN performs assessments or evaluations, advocates, and carries out home care duties. RN will also assist with ensuring that the home care program is in compliance with current State of Minnesota Assisted Living Licensure and Home Care regulations. Working cooperatively with the Clinical Nurse Supervisor, and nursing team this position supervises the delivery of services provided to the residents and supervises staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be registered and licensed with the State of Minnesota as an RN, and must maintain a current and unencumbered licensure.
- Must be educated on the 8/1/2021 Assisted Living Licensure changes as it pertains to ALF home care.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- At least 3 years’ experience in older adult services/assisted living.
- PPE is provided to all staff. Proper use of PPE must be adhered to at all times.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND TASKS:
- In coordination with Clinical Nurse, work with the Home Care team including completing essential assessments or evaluations, paperwork, and complying with state regulations.
- Is responsible for license surveys.
- Is available to meet with case workers.
- Is responsible for investigating and reporting incidents of suspected resident neglect and/or abuse and reporting these findings to Clinical Nurse and/or appropriate county and state officials.
- Is willing to carry a cell phone and be on call for emergencies and notification of changes in a rotation with other nurses.
- Supervision of other nursing and unlicensed personnel/RA staff.
- Provide support and address needs for programs and services.
- Participate and function effectively as a team member.

All staff have the ability to earn PTO, 4 weeks of PTO/ESST accrued for FT hours for the first year.
