- Receive and prioritize incoming calls from customers and drivers
- Coordinate and schedule transportation services based on customer needs and driver availability
- Dispatch drivers to designated locations using transportation management systems
- Monitor driver progress and provide updates to customers as needed
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including driver logs and delivery schedules
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize routes and ensure efficient delivery operations
- Assist with data entry tasks related to dispatching and fleet management

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong knowledge of logistics and transportation management principles
- Experience in dispatching or related field preferred
- Proficiency in using transportation management systems, such as Oracle Transportation Management or similar software
- Familiarity with fleet management processes and procedures
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and customer service best practices
- Experience with AS400 or similar data entry systems is a plus
