Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Process sales transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including scanning items, processing payments, and issuing receipts.
- Demonstrate product knowledge by conducting product demos and recommending items based on customer needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and store displays.
- Assist with stocking shelves and inventory management as needed.
- Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Uphold phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience operating a cash register is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn about products to enhance customer interactions.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
