We are seeking a Graduate Assistant for Exploratory Studies & Student Development to join our team. As a Graduate Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting students' academic success.
Job Description
You will work closely with students to identify their strengths and challenges, and develop strategies to support their academic success. You will also collaborate with faculty and staff to plan and implement departmental activities and outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifies learner needs and addresses barriers to learning and academic success
- Serves as an advocate, motivator, and facilitator for student success
- Supports institutional goals for student satisfaction, retention, persistence, and graduation
Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, you must be enrolled in a Millersville University graduate program and have strong communication and interpersonal skills. You should also be able to work independently and as part of a team.
