Job Summary/Basic Function
The UT/ENTC Support Technician’s primarily responsibilities are to setup, operate, maintain, and strike UT/ENTC equipment and spaces.
Required Qualifications
- Have prior experience with Audio, FX, Lighting, Costuming, Properties, Networking, or Video equipment.
- Have a positive attitude, and the ability to work well with other students, staff, faculty and the general public.
- Maintain professionalism during periods of stress
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in troubleshooting, programming, and repairing Audio, FX, Lighting, Costuming, Properties, or Video equipment.
- Understand the Live Entertainment industry.
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
Job Duties
- Setup, operate, maintain, and strike UT/ENTC equipment and spaces.
- Update and maintain all paperwork, and/or other systems which allow other workers to successfully perform their duties.
- Crosstrain with other UT/ENTC departments and equipment.
- Function as House Manager or Ushers if required.
- All other duties as assigned.
