JOB TITLE: Beamer Front Support
REPORTS TO: Beaming/Slashing Production Manager
PURPOSE
To safely and efficiently assist beamer operator safely to set up, run and doff the beamer machine. To safely and efficiently transport loom beams to the warehouse, using hoists and PIVs. To safely and efficiently stage and prepare empty loom beams for the beamer machine.

- Operate a hoist/ crane to stage and prepare empty loom beams.
- Operate a hoist/ crane to load full loom beams into racks.
- Operate a PIV to transport full loom beams and loom beam racks to the warehouse.
- To assist beamer operator with startup and doffing.
- Ability to work safely
- Ability to read and write and follow directions
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
- Ability to understand and follow beamer front support standard work procedures
- Ability to use PIVs and hoist/ cranes to stage empty and full loom beams.
- Ability to pass beamer front support tests and become certified by consistently performing standard work as required.
- Good communication skills
