POSITION OVERVIEW
Must perform certain preventive maintenance responsibilities as well as daily repair work on knitting machines and doffs. Technicians are to perform daily technical machine checks. Must inspect fabric, looking at doff head and rolling out on doff table as required by specific styles.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on assigned knit machines in compliance with the PM schedule
- Assist in troubleshooting and repair of machines in production as needed
- Perform style changes as assigned by Planning Department
- Perform machine oiling as required
- Perform maintenance as required, such as reneedle, flush, and various machine repairs
- Change the mechanical setting of a Knitting machine to produce fabric as needed for specific customer orders

WORK ENVIRONMENT / SAFETY-SENSITIVE POSITION
This job operates in a manufacturing facility. This position is a safety-sensitive position and regularly works around moving mechanical parts and powered industrial vehicles. Noise level is generally loud.
SHIFT / WORK HOURS
Shift schedule will depend on open positions at time of hire and will be communicated with new hire paperwork. Weekends and holidays are scheduled depending on business demands.
