Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting operations. This role will be responsible for managing the general ledger, ensuring accurate journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes. The Accounting Manager will also supervise 1-2 Staff Accountants. Familiarity with SAP is essential, and experience in the manufacturing industry is required.
Key Responsibilities:
• General Ledger Management: Maintain and oversee the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
• Journal Entries: Prepare, review, and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Account Reconciliation: Conduct regular account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Month-End and Year-End Close: Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met and financial statements are accurate.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports and analyses for management to support decision-making.
• Compliance and Controls: Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and relevant regulations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including finance, operations, and management, to support overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.
