About the role:

The Foreign Language (Spanish) Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Spanish language and culture to students in accordance with Tennessee state standards. This role includes designing engaging and immersive lessons that develop students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Spanish. The teacher fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes language acquisition and cultural appreciation. Additionally, the Spanish teacher collaborates with colleagues, monitors student progress, and implements instructional strategies to support diverse learners. Compliance with district, state, and national curriculum guidelines is essential to ensure student success.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with a valid Tennessee teaching license.
• Endorsement in the grade/subject taught - Spanish (Codes: 009, 169, 409, or 495)
• Governed by the Rules and Regulations of the Tennessee Code Annotated and the collective bargaining agreement.
• Must be physically and mentally able to perform the responsibilities and duties of the position.

We value honesty and transparency in our hiring process. Our salary range for teaching positions is $50,055.20 to $75,398.68, determined by verified years of experience and recognition of a Master's degree.
