As the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging , you’ll have the opportunity to lead a dedicated team, contribute to the health and well-being of your community, and enjoy the unparalleled beauty of rural Maine.
Your Impact:
- Drive Excellence: Plan, lead, and direct the daily operations of the Diagnostic Imaging, Diagnostic Scheduling, and Cardiopulmonary/Respiratory Therapy departments ensuring competency of all personnel, efficient workflow, and adherence to patient care quality standards.
- Lead and Inspire: Recruit, train, and develop a highly skilled team of technologists and staff. Your hands-on leadership will inspire your team, as demonstrated by your willingness to perform studies and fill in shifts when necessary.
- Ensure Quality and Compliance: Develop and maintain a robust Quality Assurance plan and ensure compliance with all state and federal laws/yearly surveys.
- Manage Resources Effectively: Formulate and oversee department budgets and efficient use of resources.
- Innovation and Adaptation: Work with physicians and hospital staff to optimize patient care and streamline processes. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in diagnostic imaging technology and implement new modalities as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Current State of Maine License and ARRT certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare management, preferably in diagnostic imaging.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts, build teams, and work collaboratively across departments.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate in high-pressure situations.
- Knowledge of principles and techniques used in negotiation as applied to service contracts and equipment purchases.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A passion for providing exceptional patient care.

This is a full-time, 40-hour week salaried position; Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
