Your Role
The Distribution Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all activities are carried out in a timely, efficient, and safe manner. This role involves supervising staff, coordinating logistics, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the warehouse team, including receiving, warehousing, and shipping operations
- Ensure accurate inventory records are maintained
- Develop and implement efficient processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all distribution activities
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance performance and productivity
- Collaborate with other departments, such as, CPM, and Planning to ensure timely product availability and delivery
- Analyze performance metrics and prepare reports for management regarding distribution operations
- Address and resolve any issues that arise during the distribution process, including customer complaints and logistical challenges
- You will be working in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related Business Discipline
- Previous GMP experience
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- 2 years working in SAP EWM
