Requirements & Qualifications:
Employer requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a closely related field and eight (8) years of progressively more responsible work experience as a software engineer or related occupation utilizing Agile and Scrum methodologies throughout the product development lifecycle. In addition, employer requires:
- Demonstrated ability utilizing JAVA, J2EE, and design patterns to develop digital platforms or client/server applications in the ecommerce domain gained through eight (8) years of work experience;
- Demonstrated ability designing and developing web applications with JAX-RS and RESTFUL webservices gained through six (6) years of work experience;
- Demonstrated ability utilizing multiple databases such as Oracle or SQL Server and NoSQL databases such as Cassandra gained through six (6) years of work experience;
- Demonstrated ability utilizing Elastic Search, Maven, Dynatrace, and Gitlab gained through six (6) years of work experience; and
- Demonstrated knowledge of microservices, event-oriented architectures and distributed systems, and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines gained through six (6) years of work experience.
All years of experience may be gained concurrently.
International or domestic travel is required approximately 1-2 weeks per year. Telecommuting is available up to three (3) days per week.
