About the Role:
Milis Equipment is seeking an experienced Project Management Lead to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing heavy civil construction projects from initiation to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, considering factors such as resource allocation, risk management, and regulatory requirements
- Foster positive relationships with clients, public entities, and regulatory agencies
- Supervise the construction process, including procurement and site inspections
- Monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance to mitigate risks and address issues promptly
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and expenditures to optimize resource utilization and control costs
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that projects meet specified standards and specifications
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience managing civil engineering and construction projects for public entities, preferably in Texas
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Fluent English language skills
- Ability to work effectively with mathematical concepts and apply them to practical situations
