Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Leasing Agent to join our dynamic commercial real estate team specializing in retail properties. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the leasing process for a diverse portfolio of retail spaces, from identifying and engaging potential tenants to negotiating lease agreements. This role requires a proactive professional with a proven track record in retail leasing, strong industry relationships, and excellent negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Tenant Prospecting:
• Identify and target potential retail tenants through market research, networking, and lead generation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing tenants.
• Lease Negotiations:
• Prepare, review, and negotiate lease agreements, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market standards.
• Address and resolve any issues or concerns during lease negotiations.
• Market Analysis:
• Analyze retail market trends, competitor activities, and tenant performance to maximize occupancy rates and rental income.
• Provide insights on optimal lease terms, pricing strategies, and tenant mix for the portfolio.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with property management, construction, and legal teams to ensure seamless tenant onboarding and satisfaction.
• Support marketing efforts to attract and retain high-quality tenants.
• Portfolio Management:
• Maintain a robust pipeline of prospective tenants and track leasing activity through CRM systems.
• Monitor lease expirations and proactively plan for renewals or replacements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Real Estate, or a related field (preferred).
• 5 years of experience in commercial real estate leasing, with a focus on retail properties.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial leasing terms, legal requirements, and retail market dynamics.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in real estate software and tools, such as CoStar, Yardi, or similar platforms.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
