Automotive Service Manager

Description of the role:

Ford of Harvey is seeking an experienced and dedicated Automotive Service Manager to join our team. As an Automotive Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our service department, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining quality standards, and maximizing profitability. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of automotive service operations.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage and lead the service department, providing guidance and supervision to technicians, service advisors, and other staff
• Ensure efficient workflow and prioritize service requests to meet customer needs and service timelines
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by resolving issues, addressing customer concerns, and providing exceptional service
• Monitor and control costs, including labor, parts, and inventory, to maximize profitability
• Develop and implement service policies and procedures to improve efficiency, quality, and customer experience
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in automotive service management
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Prior experience in automotive service management or a related field
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Proven customer service skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints
• Knowledge of automotive systems, repairs, and maintenance procedures
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
