What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Data Specialist (Entry Level) position at Mills Automotive Group?
The Product Data Specialist (Entry level) will be responsible managing data for our catalog of products, optimizing the data and ensuring a World Class Experience for our Customers. This position will report to and work under the direction of the Purchasing Operations Manager.
Assist the Purchasing Operations Manager with a variety of tasks relating to Aftermarket Accessories product data. Duties will include:
- Successfully assist the Purchasing Operations Manager with running, managing, and growing our expanding catalog of products
- Prepare Product application data and price files via Excel
- Add and Maintain Product data into our database
- Add Brands
- Add Categories
- Product Image Management
- Merchandise Products
- Adhere to Vendor guidelines
- Assist with Promotions / Discounts
- Manage Price Increase / Updates
- Review Products Sales by categories to maximize gross profit
All of the duties will result in us hitting and exceeding our revenue goals.
Applicants must be self-starters with the ability to learn, be dependable, organized, possess attention to detail, basic math skills, and work well with an energetic Team. Must have strong Microsoft Excel comprehension, and minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar retail position. Automotive experience is not required, however knowledge of vehicles and aftermarket accessories is a strong benefit. We have outstanding training opportunities available for those willing to grow.
This position requires individuals to have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
The workdays for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
