What are the responsibilities and job description for the Systems Support Specialist (CANES) position at MILLS MARINE & SHIP REPAIR LLC?
Command, Control, and Intelligence (C2I) engineering and technical onsite support to the Mid Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) Code 281.
Clearance Requirement:
Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a DOD Secret security clearance.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Five (5) years of hands-on experience in the troubleshooting, assessment and repair of the following systems. Experience shall be current; within the last 3 years AN/USQ-208 CANES.
- Provide technical evaluation and correction of fleet equipment/system casualties
- Provide Technical assistance repairing and replacing malfunctioning or failed components
- Provide distance support for corrective repair actions, onboard maintenance training, and logistical support. Systems and equipment include:
- CANES
- Naval Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS)/NIAPS
- Host Based Security System (HBSS)
- Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
- Fleet Technical Assistance (FTA) and Casualty Report (CASREP) support non-routine and complex onboard and distance support technical assistance. Evaluate, troubleshoot, test, repair, and/or provide technical oversight and guidance to correct equipment deficiencies of the CANES and other equipment within CANES, as scheduled by MARMC.
