Division 8 Project Executive
MAJOR PURPOSE
The Project Executive will assist in the execution of Mills & Nebraska’s business strategies to meet objectives in a timely manner while supporting the Company’s mission, vision and values. The Project Executive will successfully manage a project to requirements while meeting or exceeding profit margins specific to individual jobs.

The Project Executive will successfully manage a project to requirements while meeting or exceeding profit margins specific to individual jobs.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- To review job estimate costs and ensure detailed materials are within budget
- Ensure all material costs are correct before worksheets are released to the Purchasing Department
- Communicate with contractors as required to ensure jobs run smoothly
- To have sound knowledge of Windstorm, Fire, Life Safety, and ADA code requirements as related to openings designed for allowances and wind pressure when required
- To participate in kickoff meetings with Estimators and Detailers at the beginning of projects
- To coordinate the purchasing of all materials with the Purchasing Department. Ensure deliveries are scheduled to meet project schedules
- Ensure jobs are billed properly and all close out documents are completed in a timely manner at the end of a project
- To coordinate Installers work specific to job requirements
- Successfully build and maintain positive relationships and build good rapport with all end users
- To review pricing changes and process change orders as necessary
- To respond to RFI – requests for information in a timely manner, often problem solving and documenting delays that may arise
- Actively plan out timelines and production schedules that are attainable and realistic, managing timelines to completion
- Receive and interpret quotes from sub-contractors
- To meet contractors on-site and walk sites as necessary
- Work independently with minimal supervision, within a flexible schedule keeping set appointment times with clients/vendors and end users
- Effectively manage the flow of paperwork throughout the job ensuring the process is completed in a timely manner, including timely transfer of interoffice paperwork
- Use sound professional judgment while representing the Company

REQUIREMENTS
The incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:
- Computer proficiency, with ability to work in MS Office based programs to include Outlook email
- Ability to learn NAVISION, and possibly PROTECH software and use software with proficiency
- Sign a confidentiality agreement as required from general Contractor/Owner as a project specific requirement

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- At least a high school diploma; additional studies preferred in technical training specific to the needs/requirements of the position.
- This position requires a minimum of 1-5 years of like/similar experience preferably supporting a manufacturing or production capacity with hands on knowledge.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to continuously see. Must be able to frequently stand, walk, view computer monitors, give & receive oral communication, bend, squat, reach above shoulder level, and discern color. Must be able to occasionally sit, drive, type, and make fine discriminations in sound.
- Must be able to regularly lift/carry up to 10 lbs.; occasionally lift/carry up to 20 lbs.
- Must be able to do repetitive simple grasping, fine manipulation on a frequent basis.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and drive to and from work locations.
- Must be able to travel as required for Company business.
- As needed work a varied schedule that could include nights, weekends and holidays.
