Job Description

Job Title : Nuclear Medicine / PET CT Technologist

Job Specialty : Nuclear Medicine Tech

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (07 : 30 - 16 : 00)

Guaranteed Hours : Not specified

Experience : Minimum of 1 year

License : CA CRT Licensure, CA Venipuncture Licensure

Certifications : BLS (AHA)

Must-Have :

Epic charting experience preferred
Availability for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
Must have valid state license and certifications in hand at the time of application

Job Description :

Perform routine and specialized computerized tomography procedures.

Produce quality images for the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease.

Work independently with sound judgment and developed clinical skills.

Execute safe and precise procedures to deliver accurate results in a timely manner.

Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families / support groups, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.

Adhere to all local / state / federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.

Responsible for performing specific procedures and may help orient other staff to the department.

Complete required modules during orientation, which may vary by specialty. Module hours exceeding the standard orientation are billable.
