General Summary:
Mills Pharmacy & Apothecary is seeking a highly motivated, customer-oriented pharmacy technician to assist the pharmacist with running daily pharmacy operations.
Daily Duties:
· Prompt customer service
· Answer phone calls and resolve all customer requests and needs.
· Ring up customers for prescriptions and over-the-counter items.
· Process refills.
· Communicate directly with the pharmacist.
· Comply with all Michigan State rules and regulations.
· Accurately count and dispense medications.
· Enter new prescriptions and maintain accurate patient profiles.
· Communicate with doctor’s offices when needed.
· Communicate with insurance companies when needed.
· Assist in inventory management processes including order review, inventory returns, restocking shelves, and physical inventory preparation.
Requirements:
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Detail oriented and ability to multitask.
· Must maintain regular attendance.
· Must pass all employment screening tests.
· Must have the ability to work and produce results under pressure.
· State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician license is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Pharmacy Technician Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (Preferred)
- PTCB Certification (Preferred)
