Toasted and Sauced by Craft Cookery @ Mills River Brewery in Mills River, NC is looking for a kitchen supervisor to join our team. We are located on 336 Banner Farm Rd.

Reports to: Kitchen Manager
Supervises and Trains: Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, Dishwashers, Food Runners
Overview
The Kitchen Supervisor collaborates with the Kitchen Manager to ensure smooth daily shift operations which enables Toasted & Sauced’s team to achieve the desired and agreed upon financial, food quality and cleanliness goals and standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Food Safey & Sanitation
· Maintain standards in stocking, organization, labeling and cleanliness of the trailers, walk-in and dry storage room.
· Fixes and/or reports any maintenance or safety issues.
· Maintain ServSafe Certification and uphold those standards
Food Quality & Consistency
· Ensure food is fresh and held at proper temperatures (line checks)
· Train and maintain proper portioning, packaging/presentation.
· Monitor and coach team to meet acceptable ticket times
· Utilize station set-up and par sheets and constantly monitor prep levels
· Execute accurate ordering and inventories
Team Management
· Schedule and manage labor according to volume
· Train the team according the standards
· Set forth the plan with the team each shift and communicate as things change
· Ensure the team is set up for success at each station and direct them to that end
· Interviewand hire new team members
Communication
· Provides clear expectations to the team so they can succeed
· Gives constant feedback to the team coaching them to success and showing gratitude for the things they execute to standards
· Communicates specials and menu changes to the FOH managers
· Open and honest about any issues with the FOH manager/owners/team members
Qualifications:
· Ability to create and maintain a culture of excellence and teamwork
· Demonstrated ability to communicate, delegate, and follow up
· Have knowledge of food and cooking techniques, involving a minimum of 1 year kitchen leadership experience
· Understanding of basic maintenance of kitchen equipment
· Understanding of and ability to influence operational systems and financial results
· Must have the stamina to work 45 to 50 hours per week
· Basic knowledge of computers/Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems
