Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and contributing to a smooth food service operation.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including peeling vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
• Help maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to the kitchen manager.
• Support the culinary team during busy service periods by providing assistance where needed.
• Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure safety and sanitation in the kitchen environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Willingness to assist with various tasks in the kitchen as needed, including catering events or hotel services.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
