Your role will involve supporting senior tradespeople in a range of construction activities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform manual labor as directed by the site supervisor
- Operate and maintain construction equipment
- Prepare and clean work areas
- Assist tradespeople with tasks such as demolition and excavation
- Ensure compliance with safety standards at all times
- Load, unload and identify building materials
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in a related field is advantageous
- Good physical health and strength
- Ability to work collaboratively and take direction
- Basic understanding of construction principles
- Power tool operation
- Demolition skills
- Excavation skills
- Strong work ethic
- Problem-solving abilities
- Forklift certification is an advantage
