Millstone Medical Outsourcing is looking for an energetic individual to join its team as a Boxing Associate on the 1st shift. Millstone Medical is a fast growing, fast paced medical service provider for the top Orthopedic companies in the industry. Millstone’s business focus is sterile and non- sterile packaging of medical devices. Millstone also engages in other activities, such as mechanical inspection and assembly, which are designed to meet the outsourcing requirements of medical device manufacturers seeking to reduce costs while maintaining high levels of quality, accuracy, and timeliness. We are FDA and ISO registered and employ a detailed internal quality system to ensure ISO compliance.
Responsibilities:
The Boxing Associate is responsible for labeling, packaging, and inspecting customer products per the customer’s and Millstone’s specific requirements. Performs all other duties as requested or required across all areas of the company. This position includes visual inspection of medical devices and instruments which requires the ability to detect defects. 20/20 or corrected 20/20 vision is required.
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Skills:
- Must be able to communicate (read, write, speak) in English
- Ability to read all department procedures in English
- Ability to read/understand basic print/drawings in English
- Ability to follow the lead of other operators
- Ability to keep supplies & area orderly
- Must have basic addition & subtraction math skills
- Basic knowledge-Familiar with computer hardware
Physical Demands:
- 20/20 or corrected 20/20 vision is required
- Standing, frequent lifting of 25 lbs. or less and occasional heavy lifting of 25 lbs. or more
- Manual Dexterity and repetitive motion (*Boxing area requires frequent repetitive use of hands/wrists)
