ABOUT US
MMO company known for medical device distribution and process manufacturing seeks a self-directed Help Desk Technician with a passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. The Help Desk Technician will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with senior leadership.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 3p-11:30p & rotating Saturdays (4 hr shift)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the setup of new computers and printers.
- Troubleshooting hardware and software and responding to Help Desk tickets.
- Also responsible for anti-virus updates, software updates in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Maintains computer inventory and asset management system.
Requirements
- Requires one year of previous IT experience
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Mechanical Printer Repair Capabilities
- Possess basic arithmetic skills
- Communication skills – verbal and written
- Analytical thinking – mathematical reasoning
- Plan and direct work within a cell
- Software & Computer Skills
- Problem solving skills
o Basic knowledge – familiar with hardware
o Mid-level – familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
o Advanced – ability to create spreadsheets and other documents
- Technical Training
- Ability to read and write the English language
