What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Rep - Parts position at Milltronics?
Milltronics USA is looking for a Customer Service Representative for our parts department. This position will be based out of our Indianapolis, Indiana facility. As the Customer Service Representative, you will interact with many different customers and distributors. This role is an essential part of improving the Milltronics customer experience by properly prioritizing calls to ensure the proper resources are designated, and customer inquiries are resolved in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Answer Customer calls to collect information and create tickets
- Identify and research customer needs
- Prioritize service and/or parts requests for technical support and parts teams
- Interact with service and engineering personnel as well as vendors to respond to customer parts requests
- Enhance customer and distributor experience by reducing wait times and streamlining the ticketing process
- Review mechanical and electrical exploded assembly drawings and cross reference identified components and assemblies against a bill of materials
- Data entry and other administrative tasks
Requirements
- 1 years of experience in a call center customer service position
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong listening, organizational, verbal, and written skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
