Role Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse is a vital member of our healthcare team, delivering efficient and effective nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). This position requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition, and report changes in condition.
- Collaborate with RNs to develop comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of an associate degree from an approved school of practical nursing.
- Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing or pending LPN licensure.
- Maintain BLS/CPR certification, as required by facility or state regulations.
