What are the responsibilities and job description for the Per Diem EMT / Per Diem Firefighter/EMT position at Millville Fire Rescue?
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Part-Time or Per diem EMTs and Firefighter/EMTs. This position primarily consists of providing emergency medical care as part of our BLS ambulance crew.
Minimum qualifications:
Must be 18 years old
Must be able to pass a CORI and background check
Must have a valid drivers license and acceptable driving history
Must have a valid MA EMT-Basic or higher license.
Firefighter I/II Certification (FF/EMT Only)
Preferred qualifications:
Valid CPR/AED Certification
3 years experience working as an EMT in a 911 system
EMT:
Respond to emergency calls for assistance
Provide basic life support, assess patients and provide medications as required
FF/EMT:
Utilize mechanical knowledge to maintain and inspect firefighting apparatus

Pay rates provided are paid as a $100 per shift stipend. Additional compensation for Firefighter/EMTs is available only for performing those additional duties and is dependent on call volume.
