Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in CNC programming and a strong mechanical background to develop high-quality components. This role requires precision, problem-solving, and effective teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for machining operations using Alpha Cam software.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
- Apply geometric principles and mathematical concepts to ensure precise programming.
- Ability to oversee CNC machinery, specifically Holzher EPICON Series, adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct quality checks using precision tools such as bore gauges and calipers.
- Collaborate with the fabrication team to resolve production issues and improve processes.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to increase efficiency and minimize waste.
- Maintain and manage tooling inventory, ensuring proper calibration for peak performance.
Skills
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in CNC programming, with a focus on machining operations.
- Proficiency in Alpha Cam software and experience with Holzher EPICON Series machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in CNC operations.
- Expertise in using bore gauges, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- 5-axis CNC programming experience is preferrable but not required
- Solid understanding of geometry and mathematical principles related to machining.
- Familiarity with tooling selection, calibration, and maintenance best practices.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
Schedule: Day shift
Work Location: In person
- Monday to Friday 7am-4:30pm
- Overtime available
- Weekends as needed
