Woodworker or Millworker

Woodworker needed for a millwork company specializing in custom wood doors. Individual will be responsible for crafting and assembling custom interior wood doors according to shop drawings. Attention to detail and commitment to excellence a must. We require that you have a great attitude, work well with others, and enjoy what you do, have reliable transportation, valid drivers license and can show for work on time.

Responsibilities

• Cut & machine components and/or assemble components for custom wood doors.
• Verify dimensions and check the quality of millwork
• Assemble components together to form completed units using glue, nails, or clamps.
• Utilize various woodworking tools and machinery to shape, cut, and assemble wood materials.
• Experience with shapers and table saws.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood pieces for accurate fit and alignment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools, and machinery.
• Ability to work independently within a team and to meet project deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot assembly issues.
• Physical dexterity and ability to lift heavy objects as required.

Requirements

• Strong skills in drawings reading and interpretation.
• 3 years’ experience in cabinet or millwork field
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multitask
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Schedule

• 7:00am-4:30pm shift
• Monday thru Friday
• Saturdays as needed

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
