What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Captain position at MILLWRIGHTS?
We are hiring enthusiastic and reliable people who are interested in working in a fast-paced, customer service oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have at least six months of previous experience as a server, excellent customer service skills and enjoy working in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Take meal orders from customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining environment.
- Understand and follow the menu.
- Take food and drink orders from customers.
- Answer questions about menu items.
- Oversee the preparation of alcoholic beverages to ensure that they are served safely.
- Conform to standard safety procedures for handling food, alcoholic beverages and pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils or equipment.
- Serve food and drinks to customers according to their orders and needs.
- Perform a variety of kitchen duties, including upkeep of cooking equipment, cooking, or cleaning.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
