Multiple positions are currently open for regular, full-time employees with the potential to grow into smart Operators and knowledgeable Leaders.
These positions are physically demanding and will include dumping fruit, knocking down wooden fruit crates, lifting 45-pound drums on and off a truck, sweeping, shoveling. and hosing down work areas. On-the-job training is provided over time for forklift certification and equipment operator positions.
We are seeking team players with a desire to work hard and grow in their position. All employees work weekly rotating shifts (day, swing, and graveyard) and mandatory overtime on weekends, especially in the summer and fall. We will train you to operate a forklift and to run equipment so you will be able to continue your wage and skill growth. We offer health insurance for the family after 90 days as well as pension and 401k plans for retirement.

Responsibilities
- Dumps raw products from boxes, drums, and bulk containers to be processed in the plant
- Loads and unloads empty 55 gallon drums from transport trucks and stacks and sets drums as directed
- Packs products into drums or pails
- Prepares drums and lids for finished product packing by removing labels and washing inside and outside of container
- Maintains cleanliness throughout the plant, including sweeping inside and outside of building, scrubbing and cleaning equipment and vehicles, picking up and properly disposing debris and scrap materials, and transporting materials in storage areas to maintain proper organization and neatness
- Follows all safety policies and procedures
- Asks questions and demonstrates a desire to learn "the Milne Way"
- Shows aptitute and ability to be trained to be an equipment operator
- Attends work as scheduled and is available for overtime as needed (overtime includes weekend work)
- Demonstrates an honest work ethic of hard work and integrity
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years old and authorized to work in the US
- Good math, language, reading, and English communication skills
- Able to lift and move 50 pounds on a regular basis, climb ladders and stairs, and work at multiple heights
- Willing and able to work all three rotating shifts (1 week 7:00 AM-3:00 PM days, then 1 week 3:00 PM-11:00 PM swing, then 1 week 11:00 PM-7:00 AM graveyard, and then back to days, etc.)
- Willing and able to work overtime, which may include 6 or 7 day workweeks during certain processing times and/or 12 hour days
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
- Must demonstrate a positive work ethic including hard work, honesty, and integrity
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
