Although this role is primarily remote, the Associate may be asked to travel regularly to Birmingham AL to support the Department. Ideal candidates will reside within reasonable distance to Corporate Headquarters.
Summary
The Vice President of Sales is responsible for developing the vision and managing the execution of the Sales Department. Participates as a member of the Business Development Team to identify and implement strategies to achieve operational and financial objectives. This is not a fiduciary officer role.
Ownership
- Lead a World Class Sales department that delivers exceptional customer service, leads the category and grows market share in all available channels.
- Build trust with existing and new customers by exceeding expectations on service, forecasts and communication through visible systems in the department.
- Identify and use data to enhance sales effectiveness.
- Manage and coach sales function leaders and associates to success on strategy, tactics and culture consistent with Milo's strategic systems and culture of People First, HAT and Authentic Leadership.
- Lead Go to Market strategy and execution for launch of new products, pack sizes and brands.
- Work closely with Business Development, Sales leaders and Finance to recommend and deliver financial reporting, forecasting and Metrics that Matter for accountability and budgeting, while driving the Sales TEAm to monitor, achieve and visibly report departmental and organizational analytics and Metrics That Matter.
- Participate in the strategic planning process; facilitate departmental and company-wide adoption of strategic initiatives and deliver performance measures to support the strategy.
- Work with the Business Development Team and all departments to continuously improve corporate efficiency and effectiveness.

- Leader in Corporate Responsibility programming including environmental, social and MMAD programs.
- This position has Food Safety Responsibilities.

Qualifications
- B.A. in Marketing or related field (MBA or higher degree preferred). Minimum 10 years of related experience.
- Consumer packaged goods industry experience required, with food or beverage preferred.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have extensive knowledge and experience with presentations, communication and closing skills.
- Applicants must have strong experience with Internet based software and Office 365 applications
